Onwards and upwards

Lots of things are going on at Coup d'Taco, but many are currently below the surface. However, that's why I'm writing now, to give you all a taste of what's coming.

First of all, we have new music coming. Zanzibar is putting the finishing touches on his latest mix, and should be able to get it to me tonight. Provided that he does, it'll be playing tomorrow at Noon and 10 PM EST. If he doesn't, I have a treat for you all that's a little bit different... Among the big influences to get Coup d'Taco started are The Avalanches DJ sets. And I have a two hour set that DJ Dexter (formerly of The Avalanches) did for Triple J ready to go. The tentative plan is to have Dexter's set play on Friday at Noon and 10 PM EST. However, if technical difficulties prevent me from getting Zanzibar's set tonight, then it's Dexter tomorrow and Zanzibar on Friday (probably with a re-broadcast early next week due to people being gone for the 4th of July holiday).

Phew! We also have sets coming soon from Lost Luggage, jon.dus, and yours truly.

Going back to that "under the radar" stuff, Shut and I are working on Not exactly sure when it's launching, but hopefuly in a few weeks. And even more fun, the new version of iTunes is out, and it supports Podcasting. Starting someday in July (and provided I can figure it out) we'll be podcasting and offering direct download links.

There, I blogged about it, so that means it has to come true!
