Quick Update

I talked with Time Warner and fixed the problems that were happening with the skipping. Last night's show had two very minor skips, but was fine for the most part. However, the broadcast software randomly stopped twice during the show, making the final product crappy and thus not posted. I don't know why. I'm going to update some software this week and do some test runs. Cross your fingers!

Rebirth

Greetings to the three people still reading this blog. It's been a long, long time, so let me tell you all about what has gone on... After running the podcast and streaming radio, I got burnt out marketing it myself. I never felt like I was gaining anything and couldn't get an increase in numbers. Plus the lack of feedback was depressing. So the plug got pulled.

Since then, I'd been looking for an online radio station where I could have a weekly show, and I found it a few months ago with www.radiogkol.com. I have my show on Wednesdays from 9 until Midnight EST. It's been a lot of fun so far, and I'm getting comfortable with everything. People have asked me for a podcast, so I've been working on that, and have come up with an answer. There is software available that can turn a streaming radio show into an MP3. This week's is going to have a few glitches, but it still is pretty decent. Future podcasts will be smoother.
