Late breaking news...

I pressured Lost Luggage and he decided he was Stuck In A Rut. Hence, it's the name of his set. It'll be on at 10 PM and right down there if you click the link.

Lost Luggage - Stuck In A Rut

Sifty

Well, the one DJ, Mister Lost Luggage has a new set for us. It'll be on at Noon and 10 PM EST, no surprises there. However, he never told me what he wanted the title of it to be, so I got to name it. For now it's "Man in the Sand" which is a nod to a very excellent movie that's coming out today that you should go check out. After you listen to music.

Elephantacular

but not with Elephantitis. Or Elephant Ears. Though one of those would be good, because I didn't have anything sweet to eat today. But I digress...

Tracklisting! Podcast link! Elephant schtupping a rhino! Here at Coup d'Taco!

Blerg - Não são permitidos elefantes no bar depois das oito horas

Brrrraaaaawwwm

That's the sound of the elephant. Blerg has the sound of the elephant, though different than that, on her set today. It's called "Não são permitidos elefantes no bar depois das oito horas". And that's not English. But it has stuff like LL Cool J, Butt Trumpet, King Crimson, Joe Henry and Liberace on it. Check it out at Noon and 10 PM EST. Links later, natch.

I blame Blogger

Why? Because this post is coming out a lot later than I had originally anticipated. I suppose these things happen though. And while I'm thinking about it, in about a week we'll be down for some small software upgrades. It'll probably only take an hour or so.

Oh yeah, here's the link to the last Zanzibar Flashback Friday set.

Flashback Friday: The first of Zanzibar

Hello Coup fans. Today on Flashback Friday, we have the first ever set by that plucky young DJ, Zanzibar. It's a heck of a way to make an intro, as it's a great set. If you've not heard it, please do check it out at Noon or 10 PM EST.

Trippy, no?

So that was a pretty cool set by Love And Beats. Those of us that know, know. Those of us that don't, should ask somebody! Like that link right there! Or Coup d'Taco at 10 EST.

Love And Beats - The Rocket Coaster Leaves The Station Into A Rainbow Called "Tomorrow"

The Rocket Coaster Leaves The Station Into A Rainbow Called "Tomorrow"

I repeat for those of you not paying attention, The Rocket Coaster Leaves The Station Into A Rainbow Called "Tomorrow". No, I'm not having an acid flashback, I'm merely informing you all of the title of the new Love And Beats set that will be on today at Noon and 10 PM EST with a podcast link later. It has stuff like Corey vs. Corey, John Tesh, The Offspring, Blackeyed Peas and more. Definitely check it out.

jondus - devils vs. angels

On each shoulder

Hello faithful readers of Coup d'Taco. It's Tuesday and there's music in store for you today, and it's from jon.dus. He put us together a humdinger of a set, including stuff like Mr. Bungle, Röyksopp, Curtis Mayfield, Mos Def, William S Burroughs, and Willie Nelson. I've not heard it yet, but looking at some of the stuff on it, I'm really psyched, as I hope you are. It'll be on at Noon and 10 PM EST so give it a listen hear!

Apes in tight white pants

Alright, so here's the set that I was talking about before. It's by Simian Mobile Disco, half of the crew that makes up the UK rock band with the similar name. It's some pretty cool stuff, so please check it out.

Simian Mobile Disco - Mix Tape/Supermag

Let's experiment!

I'll level with you guys... People tuning into the live broadcast have been minimal these days. And as podcasting becomes more and more popular, I'm thinking about downgrading the number of people we can have listen at one time and see how it goes. So today, the new set I put together by Simian Mobile Disco will not be playing at Noon and 10 PM. It will, however, be available for direct download this afternoon. Let me know what you think.

Re-entering his groove

So I think I can officially say that Lost Luggage is now officially back in the mix. ::knocks on wood:: Let's see if we can keep him around this time! Let him know how much you enjoy his set! Download it! Listen to it at 10 PM EST tonight. Get hooked up on the Podcast.

Lost Luggage - Nine Hundred Twelve aka A Day in the Life of a... MAN PURSE!

What is three hundred and four times three?

The answer, of course, is Nine Hundred Twelve, aka A Day in the Life of a... MAN PURSE!, which of course is the new set by our very own DJ Lost Luggage. It'll be on at our standard Noon and 10 PM EST. Direct link available too of course.

Monday, September 12, 2005

Hmmm

This was supposed to have posted Friday, but I guess Blogger had some sort of error. Fun. Anyway, here's the direct link to last Flashback Friday. Now perhaps Flashback Monday, but that doesn't have the same sort of a ring to it.

Tacologic - HPR Tribute, No iPods...

Flashback Friday: The first set with a title

Today's Flashback Friday will be my two part set. The first part is my tribute to HeadphoneRecord, and the second was my first ever set on HPR. Both halves are good. And together, they're great. Noon and 10 PM EST of course, with the podcast later today.

Old woman Blerg

Heh heh. Nah, she's not that old. Yet! Her birthday is still happening right now, and hopefully she's enjoying it. Hopefully you're enjoying her birthday set too. It's on at 10 EST and available for download right here.

Blerg - Another Year Over, A New One Just Begun

Happy Birthday Blerg!

Yes, you read correctly, today is the day that our very own Blerg gets a little bit older. And to celebrate, she's created a birthday mix for us all to hear. It'll be on today at Noon and 10 PM EST. Come celebrate in style!

Let me try this again...

Okay. Sorry for the slack effort yesterday. I really need to get my britches in gear. The set did air at Noon and 10 PM EST, but I didn't really tell people in a timely manner. My bad. But today, it'll be on yet again at Noon and 10 PM EST. And I'm telling you now, so you have no excuse not to check it out. I have songs for you from The Residents, Buckwheat Zydeco, Afro Celt Sound System, The Aquabats, Stevie Wonder, Cagey House and lots more. I attempted to bring you lots of music from different genres that I haven't yet. Results are pretty cool methinks. The direct link is already posted, so you can check it out there.

My set will be on again at 10 PM EST tonight and Noon and 10 PM EST tomorrow. So there's no excuse to miss it! You can download it here too. I'll put up a tracklisting tomorrow.

Tacologic - Bringing You The Best

Running behind...

Hey everybody. My new set is on right now! But by the time you read this, it may already be over. Very sad indeed. It'll be on again tonight at 10 PM EST. And because of the lateness of this, it'll be on tomorrow at Noon EST as well. Just to make up. So tune in quick!

Okidoke

That was Love and Beats. He'll be on later tonight. I might tune in. You might tune in. 10 PM.

I'm out of here, and will be back on Tuesday, where I bring you all a very special set. Have a good long weekend, those of you who have it.

Love And Beats - 4-20-05

It's Friday...

It's almost Noon o'clock (EST). It's time to party! Your excellent host will be Love And Beats, and it'll be his second set, which originally aired on April 20. Check it out!

Thursday, September 01, 2005

Boom ba boom

So Love and Beats' new set was pretty cool. It'll be on at 10 PM EST. Hmm... I kind of feel like I'm repeating myself here. Hopefully you all are getting familiar with the schedule. Noon and 10 PM. Tuesdays and Thursdays (unless otherwise stated). Friday flashbacks. Yes? Good.

Movin' and Groovin'

Love and Beats is back with Music To Move To. It features some cuts by Stereo Total, The Mooney Suzuki, Cibo Mato, Enon, Akihibara Electric Circus, and Beastie Boys. Naturally it'll be on at Noon and 10 PM EST. Natrually.
